Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Review | GodisaGeek

GodisaGeek: "Its very simple really: if you liked the previous Hyperdimension Neptunia games or you frequently use the terms Moe or Loli when discussing your favourite things, youll probably like this. Everyone else should probably move along; the rambling dialogue, unremarkable combat and saccharine aesthetic will simply prove too much. This is not a terrible game, but in its reduction of an interesting premise to overly-cute anime tropes and a selection of ever-more revealing outfits, its clear that it values style far above substance."

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Review (PSLS)

Added: 21.03.2013 23:18 | 15 views | 0 comments

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is a JRPG with a story that is a very satirical and loose interpretation on the console wars, with tons of boob jokes thrown in for good measure. Characters lead realms within the game world that represent each of the major console manufacturers. Events within the game, such as the introduction of Lastation (PlayStation) stealing shares away from Lowee (Nintendo), and the online network of Lastation being hacked mimic real world happenings between the consoles. While it sounds intriguing, it mostly falls flat on its face.

Drew Leachman writes: I have played every Hyperdimension Neptunia game that has been released. I really didnt like the first game, but the sequel surprised me by how well it was made. I never would have thought the series would garner a second entry, let alone a third game, but much to my surprise here I am playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory.

RandomMan from Plus XP writes "A few weeks ago I was handed a game from NIS America called Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. I will be completely honest and say that I didnt know much about this release, only that it was JRPG and that it was based in a world know as Gamindustri. This is a world that is ruled by CPUs, where game mascots live away from the realm of humans."

Review: Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory | Digitally Downloaded

Added: 18.03.2013 23:18 | 18 views | 0 comments

Digitally Downloaded writes: "While Activision isnt about to dump Call of Duty to develop a knock-off of this series as its new yearly release, Compile Heart and American publisher, Nippon Ichi Software America, seem to be happy with the fan base the series has developed, and as a result we now have a third game in the series; Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. Party time! Or, more accurately given the content of this game, Pillow Fight time!"
